This property dates back to 1710. It started out as a family home with a farm to the side. When the Revolutionary War was going on, it housed British troops. Apparently, Annette Williamson was responsible for looking after the home while her parents were away to check on another farm owned in New Jersey, but instead of looking after it, she allowed the British troops to occupy the home.
The event with the British troops left locals to call her a spy and she ended up being cornered and hung from the second story rafters. Story has it that her body was buried on the property and to this day, she continues to haunt the place.
Annette's spirit has been known to cry out and even drain the light bulbs to let others know of her existence. One of its previous owners, Thomas Haddaway, was also known to conduct contact with the dead and his efforts drew in other spirits.
