Established by Reverend Petrus Vas, the Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie dates back to 1716. It is said to be haunted the ghost of a former caretaker. Visitors have heard the jingling of the spirit’s keys and the tapping of fingers on his old office desk. Phantom whistling has been reported in the kitchen and gym as well.
