Jayne's Hill, which has also been called Oakley Hill or High Hill, is also the highest point on Long Island, it is said that Walt Whitman's ghost exists here. Some claim to have witnessed seeing his spirit walk or sing along the connecting trail. There have also been UFO rumors in the area.
