Some decades ago (accounts vary on exactly when) a newlywed couple was driving down the winding path that is Cedarvale Road. While driving around one of the curves for which the street has been given its local nickname, 13 Curves Road, the car veered out of control into a nearby creek; neither the bride nor the groom survived the crash. Since that fateful day, motorists have reported seeing the specter of a woman in a wedding gown with glowing eyes.
At times the woman is covered in blood, and she will occasionally hold an orange lantern. Some who pass report that she walks up and down the curves of the road, or stands passively on the hills. Others are less lucky, however, as the bloody bride leaps out at their cars, forcing them to swerve and crash their cars as she once did.
