This haunted home located in Middleburgh, New York was the private home to Dr. Best. The home has been very well preserved and is listed as one of New York's Historical Places. The museum gives visiters an inside look of the doctor's life in the late 1800s. It has a collection of crude, mid-1600s medical instruments that we definitely wouldn't want to be used on us today.
The doctor, his wife, and his son all died inside the home and there have been a number of paranormal investigations, some of which have found EVP levels along with the sounds of the family chattering about and playing a piano.
