Sunnyside is an independent and family-owned garden center. And don't forget our fantastic Fall Festival! We had the first pumpkin patch in the area when we began it in 1988.
We want to make your Sunnyside experience one you’ll always remember. Each year, we create an Autumnal Wonderland full of one-of-a-kind displays and locally-grown pumpkins of every shape and size. You’ll notice the intoxicating scent of freshly-made cider donuts and just-baked pies as soon as you step out of the car. And don’t forget our main attractions: our tractor-pulled hay rides and the area’s only ride-on train.
Pumpkin Patch & Activities:
We fill our patch with the biggest and best pumpkins around so you can have that perfect jack o’lantern. Come wander through and see what hay sculptures and scarecrows we’ve come up with this year. Past themes have included “Let’s Play” based on games and toys, a “Sunnyside Safari”, “Old Macdonald’s Farm”, and “Children’s Books”.
Once you arrive at Sunnyside you’ll have to decide where you want to go first.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Take a hay ride through the spooky woods
Have a ride on our little blue train
Search for the perfect pumpkin in the patch
Walk through the Hall of Flame-over 300 carved jack o’lanterns
Dance along to our live bluegrass band
Pose for a picture in one of our funny cut-outs
Visit the monarch butterflies in our butterfly room
Watch the model trains roll by
Dig in to a delicious, homemade cider doughnut
The Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest:
Sunnyside is proud to host the Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest this September, sponsored by Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. Giant pumpkin growers from around New York State will meet up to find the biggest pumpkin of the year! Stop by for a weekend full of giant pumpkins, hayrides, music, and cider donuts. Over $7,500 in prizes for the largest pumpkins.

When putting our address into a GPS system, most maps will show us to the east (right side) of some railroad tracks on or near Care Lane. Our driveway is (usually) unmarked on maps but can be found on Church Street directly across the street from Allen Drive/Tait Lane.
