The Edge of Thyme Bed and Breakfast occupies a Gregorian home once used as a summerhouse by Dr. Amos Canfield and his wife, Rosa Murphy, who was employed as John D. Rockefeller’s personal secretary. Elegant lodging and a morning meal are now available at this home, but guests may find they are not alone in their rooms. The sound of footsteps walking on a wooden floor can sometime be heard, despite the fact that the house now has rugs, and guests have awoken to see the white specter of a lady with blond hair standing at the foot of their bed.
