Mead Orchards is a 180-acre fruit orchard and vegetable farm, located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson River Valley of New York!

From June through October, we open our family's farm to offer some of our fruit, berries, and our pumpkins to you as Pick-Your-Own.

Mead Orchards is located in northern Dutchess County, New York, about 100 miles north of Manhattan, and 50 miles south of Albany. Our mailing address is Tivoli, NY, but the farm is actually located 3 miles east of Tivoli. We're just west of Route 9, 4 miles north of the Village of Red Hook, and 9 miles north of Rhinebeck. On Route 9, go north 4 miles from the Red Hook Village traffic light. Then take County Route 78 West (left) 1/4 mile. Take first right onto Scism Road, and there we are! You'll see our large red barn on the left. Our U-Pick entrance and Farm Stand are at the barn. Watch for our signs. From Westchester County or Manhattan area: Take Taconic Parkway north to the Pine Plains/Red Hook exit. Go west onto Route 199 to Red Hook -- go 8 miles North (right) at the Red Hook Village traffic light onto Route 9 -- go 4 miles. Turn west (left) onto County Route 78 -- go 1/4 mile. Right onto Scism Road -- go less than 100 yards and you'll see our big red barn on the left. From New Jersey: Take New York State Thruway (87) north to Kingston, exit 19. Take first exit (Route 28 West) -- go less than 1/4 mile Go east (right) onto Route 209/199 -- go 5 miles, cross the Kingston/ Rhinecliff Bridge. At second light after bridge, go north (left) onto Route 199/ 9G -- go approx. 3 miles to the next light. Turn east (right) onto Route 199 east into Red Hook. At Red Hook Village traffic light, turn north (left) onto Route 9 -- go 4 miles. Turn west (left) onto County Route 78 -- go 1/4 mile. Right onto Scism Road -- go less than 100 yards and you'll see our big red barn on the left.
